When I first started this I had several bottles and the drambuie was one of them. I didn't think at first that I would put the label in any of the shots but did anyway. I don't know why I didn't do as you suggest.I did take some shots with the shadow behind but the angle into the sun caused a lot of reflection off the label. Even tonned dowm in PS ..here are a couple of them. Thanks for the comments Kenny!

Interesting shots. Have you thought about using a reflector cut out to the shape of the bottle, behind the bottle? It really adds a very cool touch to shots like this.

That is not something I had in mind at the time. I was looking for the colored shadows but now that you mention it I think I will give it a try but later in the winter perhaps as I have a few other projects I am intersted in trying out.
