Very nice image. Eight degrees F is no big deal for you Maine-iacs.

Why, do you think that's too late to be coming to work??;) Actually it works great because we get out at 3:30 every day....old tradition in boat shops here as the workers would have time left at the end of the day to haul their lobster traps to supplement their lousy wages for boat building in the old days...still great though, as it gives me time to fish or honey do list while it's still light! (If I'm really lucky maybe even get the camera out if the dog feels like sitting still!)

That is a very exciting story, sounds like real good fun.:D
It is nice to see sometimes that people still keep the old traditions, realy great.
Nice to hear your story.:)

Thanks Sparker and Dimitri...8 degrees is no big deal, just limiting lifes persuits...
Dimitri, we in Maine hang on hard to tradition...but it's a slowly vanishing battle...The boat yard I manage production in has moved in the last few weeks into a 220,000 sq ft plant that is very modern in layout and approach to assembly line type construction. 2 lines of boats, 29 ft and 26 ft at $196,000 and $129,000 per copy, one of each goes out the door every 5 days...7 of each are on the lines at any given time...but we still work the old lobstermans hours !

Thanks John...how's the weather down there, shorts only??

The past couple of days have been pretty nice. We are starting to see some cool temps at night in the 40's and ocassionally high 30's, with daytime temps getting into the 60's and low 70's. This time of year you may wear jeans and a jacket one day, and shorts the next.

I love the cooler weather. It makes photography a lot more fun. It's no joy lugging your equipment around when it's in the high 90's and extremely humid. Then we have about 6 months of hurricane season.

But. . . . . . . . you guys can keep your really cold stuff. ;)
