Think the softness is from the shrinking process, the original image is sharp enough to see the damage to his tag lol

Beautiful dog. I tried to see it larger on Flickr...but it showed up the same size and quality on the laptop I am using.

Love this lens. Having that reach for dogs is great and the subject isolation you can get with F2.8 is a huge plus. I work with a rescue to take pics and this lens is on 80% of the time I'm shooting.
