Sister Shots (with the new 24-70!)

I impulsively bought the 24-70mm f/2.8 yesterday! So of course I had to try it out today, with my willing sister as a model.

Some are sort of blown out, since the sun kept going in and out, and I was trying a de-saturation effect on some (I thought it fit with her style today).

I have to say the lens is AMAZING. Sharp doesn't even begin to describe it. I can't wait to use it more (maybe in a controlled setting without rapidly changing light :])

I just got a new job, and every year I save for a big purchase. Plus I have a big shoot coming up this week that could get me quite the gig!

I must say though that the lighting is very hard in most of your samples.

I agree. I walked out when it was overcast, and the minute I started shooting the sun came back out. I wanted to try anyways, just to see how sharp the lens was, and I was not disapointed
