I don't have to many photo's of honey bees, today I noticed them in good numbers around the bird bath. Good excuse to dust the macro gear off and see if I have got rusty ....

Thanks Hot.Shek, I live just outside the tropics (100km south of Tropic of Capricorn) and I guess the best period is just about to start but I can usually find insects here year round. The trees starting to flower is the big attraction here at the moment. I've been getting rusty as I try and get into bird photography ...
