Do Sony E-mount (ie: NEX-5) lenses work on other cameras?

Hi guys...

A friend of mine bought a NEX-5N with the 18-55 and then the 16mm pancake. She hates the pancake (tried to talk her out of buying it) and now wants to get the 18-200, which would make the 18-55 pointless.

Sooooo I could grab the 18-55 and the 16mm off her for next to nothing...Will they only work on Sony NEX bodies, or will they work on any other mirrorless cameras WITHOUT adapters?

No. The e-monut only works on sony's mirrorless cameras.

Weak...thanks...the 5N is pretty dang impressive IQ wise, but I'm not a fan of the controls...or being limited to just Sony with the lenses.
