I am going to add these as I finish them, but I did team photos for the University of Albany women's basketball team, where my sister plays! I did the usual, on the court, photos, and then I did a whole different set where they all just wore white t-shirts and were casual!

Here are the on the court ones (and will be added as I process them!)

I was limited on background choice, since the white wall was down around the entire court. The coach wanted them done on the court and no where else. It was white 100% around the court!

And thanks. The girls were told to come ready with poses they wanted to do!

I have to agree the background in really horrible. You took great shots, I would maybe get a ladder, or shoot from stands , higher angle, so you capture court instead of walls.
Great poses and pictures though.

This is just the group of freshmen (the group of 4) and the lone junior! So these were just class photos!

The coach had asked if I wanted a ladder provided, and I said yes. I show up: no ladder. Bringing one in my 2-door compact car wasn't an option either. So I tried to improvise where I could! Next year, I come up in my dad's truck with my own ladder, I guess

Thanks! 3 is one of my faves as well...I think it still need a little cropping, but I have left them as-is for for so the coach has different options when it comes to printing...her photog last year shot everything too tight and cropped before giving her the photos, and they are all cut off!

I know they have a ladder, because they used it to cut down nets when we won a championship back in March :]

I think they just couldn't find it/call any one to bring it out of storage...I know better next time!

I would actually prefer a lower angle, makes them look taller.

I think lower angles would be very cool, but most girls feel very uncomfortable with that angle. It tends to make even thin girls look heavier than they are. I tried to do that with some of their individual portraits, and they hated it!
