Pulled out the 70-200 this weekend, since the weather wasn't cooperative but the critters were. Managed to get some fun shots of the "little" raccoons running around Stanley Park.

And no, number 4 is a yawn, not a snarl; heh. These little guys are a little too habituated for their own good, but I was able to take advantage and get some great closeups without much hassle. Just have to push them back when they get too close, looking for a handout.

Considering where you live, just leave some dry cat food out at night. You should have an entire family of coons to play with within a week. :D And possums too! ;)

Thanks, Ian! :) The best part is that there is no, additional, sharpening done to these images, aside from the default +25 that LR does :D Imported RAW, lens profile adjust, slight tone curve tweak and export.

Nice, they look great. The 40D does well with ISO1600 shots. Are you really sure that is a yawn haha
