I did a search on this and didnt find much, I hope this conversation hasnt been started already.

I was just wondering if any of you have tried or currently use Apple's new aperture program. I havent had a chance to try it out, and for now I am perfectly happy with Adobe Camera Raw. It's gotten some pretty bad reviews online, I'm just curious what the people who actually purchased it think of the program.

my review...

Running on Duel 1.8 G5 with 2G of Ram + 6800GT graphics card and nothing else running. It grinds to a hault when trying to anything with over 100 RAW photos. The spot+patch tool works great after you tweak it - the workflow is still slower than photoshops patch tool.

The main thing that gets to me is that every preset out put is an unchangeable 72dpi - There is away to out put it to a 300dpi only to an external editor IE: Photoshop
even then you have to find the hidden settings to change that.
