Relatively new to macro, my gear consists of a 550D, 13 + 21 + 31mm bijia extension tubes, yn-465 flash. I generally use either my 50mm 1.8 or the 55-250 kit lens. These are a couple of my favorites.

I have a softbox attachment on the way for my flash :).

Next step is to get a cable to get the flash off the camera.

The bijia ones I have yes you can, they have the connectors for it.
