I did a session with my cousin this past Sunday early in the morning around 7 AM or so, this wasn't a location shoot but just on the top of my house, there were some location constraints which I couldn't avoid. I didn't have help with reflector so I propped it against a wall to try and direct the light on the shadow side which I later realized caused some issues in 1 or 2 photos

Thanks, the location was poor I agree had constraints which I have mentioned already. I've had a problem with the focus, some of the photos got blurred or missed focus after focusing with the center focus point and recomposing. I am not sure why this happened all photos taken with EF 50mm f/1.8

This helped me a lot about recomposing:

If you can move your focus to the * button on the rear of the camera it may help with focus, especially if you need to recompose. It separates the focus function from the metering/shooting function.

As an aside - is #2 a new style?

If this style replaces the ass of the pants touching the ground, then I vote yes!:p

I just came up with the idea of the tie that way & having a serious look on his face. lol I am not sure if that can be considered a new style. Want to know what you think about it :p

As mentioned already. lighting, focus, pose , composition all need working on . As for the style of the tie and shirt and all those patterns. no thanks!

I don't care much for the style. If the colors/patterns weren't an issue I still wouldn't care for it.....
