Still going through my photos from my Friday/Saturday fall color trip to the eastern Sierra. Here's my favorite two pictures from Saturday morning and one picture of my and my camp spot before I packed up.

I quite like #1. The colors in the first shot make the second shot look downright blah in comparison. VanillaImaging.com

If you want a little more comfort than the tent next year, I have a spare bedroom in our condo at Mammoth which makes photography much more pleasant. I almost slept in the car, but I figured I could at least lay down on the ground (with air mattress). Images in the Backcountry

The audience just doesn't know how to comment on them, enjoys the post and moves on. Your images above are some of the best and most natural I have seen across the two pages of the board I have seen tonight. #1 is my favourite. Might be nice to see about half the water cropped off the bottom. Would have loved to have spent a night here myself. Thank you for the compliment Wayne! I thought including the rocks would help, but maybe not. Other people (different forums) mentioned cropping it too. I do have another version, minus the rocks. Images in the Backcountry
