One from my new favorite companion to the 22mm, a Yashica ML 50/2 (which is about the same thickness as the 22mm, before the adapter of course)

I doubt either of them will be $300 :-)

The current M fits my needs. I don't use it for anything that requires fast action. I've got my back-button focusing set on it. makes a great "mini me" to my 5D II....which I haven't shot with in weeks lol.

A few from this morning. One of which made me do a double take just to get a few images of it. Can you guess which one?

Any reason to get the 40mm STM + adapter to go with the 22mm? I wouldn't go with anything bigger than that, as I want a small compact carry-around.

40mm on a crop sensor is like 64mm, kind of inbetween a standard lens and zoom.

I see in your sig you have a 50mm. which version is it? If it's the 1.8, isn't that close to the size of the 18-55? (I'm not sure as I haven't seen the 18-55 up close). Using that on this crop sensor would turn it almost into an 85mm 1.8 (well..80mm). Granted it would add some bulk compared to a 40mm pancake, but not much, plus you get another 1.3ish stops from the 1.8 vs. 2.8. see the side by side comparison on this thread:

I think the same way, even with upcoming eos M cameras, I'm very happy with the first version!. fits my needs!!!..

most of my stuff are "underdogs" lol....EOS M....5D II (with it's sh*tty autofocus), and 50L with it's apparent focusing issues. none of which have stopped me.

I posted this image before and the only processing I did to it was convert to jpg with Camera Standard setting. I wasn't happy with it and did some more hands-on processing. I prefer this one.
