I just noticed on the back of my 22mm kit lens. It says "made in Taiwan". I don't think I've ever had a piece of canon gear that didn't say "made in Japan".

I have several other hobbies and have noticed that the products with the "made in Taiwan" seal on them generally last the longest and work the best Fuji X-T3 // Fuji X-Pro2 (Full Spectrum) // Fuji X-H1 // Fuji X-T1

EOS M is my backup camera ![]() I've actually gotten pretty used to not having a viewfinder on it. All of subjects are non-action/sports shots, so the "slow" AF isn't a problem. I'm sure the new EOS M's coming out will have a lot of nice bells and whistles, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it being $299 like this one. ![]() Price isn't that big of deal for me. As long as its not higher then the Nex 6/7 I think it will be a good competitor. Anyone have any information when it is suppose to come out? Camera: Leica M240 - Summilux 35mm 1.4 FLE

Originally there was a rumor that 2 new EOS M bodies would be released this year. This was followed by another rumor that Canon will not have ANY new product releases this year. Now there's some rumor of someone spotting references to an EOS M2 or something...

Sep 23, 2013 15:35 | #2081 as long as they continue to support the sales overseas, there shouldn't be much trouble getting newly released lenses. granted they will be "grey market" lenses, so I don't know if that would bother many people or not. Phillip - phillipwardphotography.com
