that's the only tripod I've seen that I liked for such a small camera..especially since it folds up while still attached.

As I mentioned before, grab a little thin rubber washer and put it between the tripod thread and the camera.

I'm undecided yet as to whether I want to get one...most of the time I remove the camera strap because it gets in the way.

I'm very interested in seeing the results.

My EOS M with 18-55 lens arrived today, and then I noticed NewEgg has the 22mm f/2.0 for just over $100 and had to order that. :) Looking forward to doing some traveling with this thing. I was pleasantly surprised at how solid the build quality feels.

This is a very large investment for me and I want to know that it will be worthwhile on my 350D.

Guys, any other mini tripod recommendations? Although a small scratch shouldn't matter too much since the M was such a bargain, I just don't like seeing any scars on any of my cameras...

I used to have small gorillapod thing but can't find it. Would be perfect for EOS-M.

Haven't had a chance to test it out, I'll try tomorrow. Wednesday for sure, since it's my day off.

I did get to test out the interval ISO, this was ISO 160. I believe it shoots it at 200 and pulls it back, but it's all done instantly in camera as opposed to in post. Done to combat digital noise.

I've always had noise issues on long exposures, this was a 30 second example.
In camera NR turned off and zero NR in post. I was impressed for sure.

Here's one in crappy dim lighting shot at ISO 1250, again in camera NR turned off and zero NR in post.

You can read up on digital ISO here, I read this article after trying it out myself. Really great stuff in there.

Oh yeah I also tried the crop video mode and it was really nice! You know how digital zoom is usually always horrible, well not the case with this. It looked 90% just as nice as the normal view('m guessing since it's just 1080).

Just gotta order a C mount adapters and lenses! :D Not sure if the crop will be enough for those tiny lenses but I'll try!

I'm assuming this is not scratching the bottom of your camera?

just checked and see no scratches. The part that contacts the camera is plastic.

I love this camera. Anyone interested in buying a canon that is easy to carry around but really packs a punch. This is your best choice.
