This is a poor example of the EOS M, but it worked anyway. Me and Edward James Olmos from Miami Vice and many other projects.
This is my daughter and our pup. The exit info will say iPhone because that's how I uploaded the photo to my smugmug account.
A country market near my home. Very processed pic.
I've probably posted this before, but what the heck. I'm running out of M images to post.
This is Giancarlo Esposito from Breaking Bad, Once Upon a Time, Revolution, a couple Spike Lee films, and more. The dude's face is a gift. His face can transform so well that in one part he'll look weak and meek, and in another part evil and scary. Then he smiles and he's an entirely different person.
This pose is as Gus Fring from Breaking Bad. EOS M. I didn't know he'd do that pose. His friend used my M to get the shot. Then Giancarlo and I spent about half an hour talking about photography. He uses a G9 and asked my advice. In the end I recommended the G1X because he wants to stay with G but needs better low light capabilities. He is very kind and soft spoken with a constant smile (unlike many of his characters).
I'm probably repeating myself again (age will do that) but this was a heavily backlit pic, so I took the RAW file and cranked up the exposure all the way, erased the entire background, put in the flare and side lit her face before putting in the words. It came out alright.
This is Melissa McBride from The Walking Dead. She is probably the least pretentious of any star I've met. She was so nice to me. I was chatting with her and she wiped her nose right before shaking my hand. Then she apologized and offered hand sanitizer from her purse. I used it and said, "Hey, I'm a dad and an elementary school teacher, so my immune system is iron-clad." Hen she said, "oh, then I'll need some too." She then squeezed out a bunch of hand sanitizer, rubbed it all over her hands, and then rubbed it in my hair and hers, playing around. She was quite odd, but fun to talk to. Then the lady from Buck Rodgers (Erin Gray) came over and told me to leave. She didn't like me taking pictures. Seems she was working the event, not a guest. She was such a grump.
This is Addy Miller, the little zombie girl from the opening scene of The Walking Dead. I chatted with her mom for a bit while waiting for Addy to come take a picture with me. I asked what was it like to have a daughter who was in show biz. She said the only thing she didn't like we're middle aged men who talked to her daughter. Awkward silence followed....... Eventually the mom clarified at she meant some of the online men who were too forward with her daughter. I was like, phew. But it was still awkward.
Notice her pose. A lot of the girls at the convention posed this ways and I assumed it was defensive in nature, so that nobody puts an arm around the waist. I'm a sociologist by hobby and am always analyzing human behavior.
