User RWatkins pointed me to this Canon EF Lens adapter for the EOS-M for $70. (external link)

Grab it now while you can.

Thank you! Wasn't planning on buying one of these anytime soon, but considering it's about the same price as the knock off adapters I went ahead and pulled the trigger

My girlfriend, Pam in downtown Annapolis

She walked around with the M the whole day while I used my 6D, she didn't take a whole lot of shots, but she always refused to use the T2i so this was a nice change :) Here's one she took of me, I cropped it and did the PP for her.

They are. The Digital Picture site listed this deal and they wouldn't if it was legit.

I'm looking forward to using the M with the 40mm pancake. Of course with the adapter it's not so "pancake," but close enough.

$50 shipping to Canada is ridiculous. I would have grabbed one if not for that.

might as well just buy the Canon one since shipping is nearly the cost of the adapter!

i'm still on the fence about buying the EF adapter. $199CAD and i would make the EOS M a pretty big camera with my lenses..lol

I was going to wait for the Metabones one, but I figured at $80 it's worth having just in case, and I'm sure it'll be fun to play around with :)

Luckily I'm in the US, just ordered one, and did Expedited shipping for $9.99. So hopefully it will arrive the same day as my EOS M from Newegg.

Now you can put your EF 35mm F/2 on it without losing too much of its compactness. :)

Damn, I already don't feel comfortable when I put my 580EX II on my 550D (that's why I bought some PocketWizards), but this is at least one "stop" extra in the wrong direction. :p
