IQ is great. Touch screen is excellent. The only thing you might miss is the shot to shot lag but if you are augmenting a 6D (based ion your sig) the EOS-M might be the compact rig for you.

I love mine and have a 5D3 as my primary rig and just listed my old trusty 40D as the M with the EF to M adapter can serve as a backup in a pinch. I am not a sports or event shooter. I use the M as my walk-around now and love it.

I agree -- it's a great camera to have next to a DSLR.

This.

I will say I use my X-E1 more though... but the EOS M's size make it unsellable to me, it's just too darn useful sometimes

I had considered the XE-1 or 2 prior to M - the price of the M was just too compelling. Why do you prefer the XE-1? IQ? Handling? EVF? Lenses?

All of the above ;)

The big thing for me was the EVF, I loved my M, but I still longed for a VF. I also love my M's IQ and lenses, but the Fuji is a step up in both regards. The X-E1 has plenty of flaws, but it's a more useable camera than the M for a daily basis imo, I think if I had the X-T1 I'd rarely ever use my 6D and it has basically the same sensor as the X-E1.

I have high hopes for the next iteration of the M though, I still think the Fuji bodies are over-priced, their lenses though are well worth what they cost.

Here is a shot taken with my new EOS M and 22 M lens. Find the camera slow at focus but love it can be placed in pocket and taken everywhere.

So many nice images.
Also many nice 4th of July images are showing up.
This was the first year that I used a small camera on 4th of July and couldn't be any happier.
Does anyone else feels the same way?

Last night there was another excellent deal on EOS-M with 18-55mm for $250.
Couldn't resist and got myself another one, this one I choose White color.
Should go well with L lenses. Seems I can't get enough of M.
