I noticed you have the 55-250 IS II in your sig. Have you compared it to the STM version in AF speed by any chance? On the M of course :)

amazing image. E fact that the donkey is perfectly placed just makes the image for me and no tourists in the frame either makes it very postcard like.

Did you find the holy grail?

Looks like when Indy tried to take it out the large passageways closed off. Now just a couple of small rooms inside. Bummer!

Thank you. Their were tourists but they are luckily to the left of the photo.

Domat,
Those photos are amazing! Definitely on my MUST SEE lists!

Speedync, Unfortunately I haven't used the new STM version yet. Reviews had it as a little faster and little sharper, but I haven't had any issues at all with focusing on mine! Hope that helps a little.

Fall is here in Colorado!

Here are a few infrared photos I took this morning using my unmodified M and Hoya r72 filter.

I love my M for travel.

I used both peakdesign capture pro and joby gorillapod.

Do you guys know of an option to have both capture and gorillapod plate to be attached to the camera at the same time? Something small preferably.

Thanks

Isn't the capture pro arca Swiss compatible? Maybe a travel head to replace the ballhead of the gorillapod.

Thanks for that. When you say reviews, is that reviews with the M & 55-250 STM, or just the STM version is quicker on a crop camera.
Reason being, is that I've found that the older geared micro motor drive lenses I have, are actually a bit quicker to focus than the USM & STM ones. Was just a bit curious if this was the same case on the 55-250. Unfortunately I don't know anyone with the older version to try on my M. And there's a 10% off sale here at the moment on the STM version :)

I have a MK1 55-250, which is a very sharp lens and one of my favourite every day lenses.

I have today ordered a Canon EF to EOS-M adapter, which should be here by next Thursday.
As soon as it arrives, I will take a few shots and post them here.:)

I finally got around to editing some shots from my M... I always forget to take it's card out since I mostly use my Fuji and 6D, but still love my M :) I'm sure it'll get more use in the colder months when I can stuff it in my jacket pocket
