Yes, I am debating whether to get the 18-55 or just buy the adapter. I have the EF 35mm f/2 and 50mm 1.8, so between those and the EF-M 22mm, I have most of 18-55 covered anyways.

Of course I could just buy the 18-55 AND adapter, but I'm really trying to keep my expenditure on the M system low for now! :D

I also think that the EOS M + mount adapter + EF 40mm F/2.8 STM would be a nice combination. Compact, sharp and fast.

My Helios 44-4 finally got some use :) I didn't like this lens much at all on my 6D, but on the M I had a lot of fun with it (makes me think I might need to get a 100mm macro for the 6D)

Now that's a picture that "pops" imo. And even on an APS-C sensor based camera. ;)

Thank you. And I never said images from a crop sensor couldn't pop, it's just easier to get that effect from full frame ;)

Haha, I thought the guy in the upper left corner was the subject until you mentioned the bird... :D

I thought the grey bird would be a difficult subject. It was a particularly camera shy bird , very flighty indeed. Not sure I got it completely in focus.

I can confirm that it is a very nice combination. Almost like it was made for it...

Why not the 22mm f2 lens? faster, more compact.
