I wouldn't be surprised if an EOS-M 2 is released sometime in the fall
The rumor I heard was "later this year", but who knows... I'm happy with this one.

The reviews on them all indicate both are very good optically Would love to see some "L" caliber glass for the ef-m mount....be it from Canon or third party! kenjancef wrote in post #16091311 The rumor I heard was "later this year", but who knows... I'm happy with this one. Likewise. It serves my needs perfectly as a compact/companion camera, and it finally broke the price point where its worth it for me. If I need something more robust, I'll reach for my DSLR. focalpointsphoto.com

M_Six Cream of the Crop More info | Samyang's new 16mm f2 comes with an M mount. Looks like a decent lens, but it's quite a bit pricier than the camera and 22mm. And manual focus only. Although since you're always in Live View mode with the M, it's not that big of a deal to zoom the view screen and nail focus. Mark J.

No. There is no (E)VF, it is all LCD-based. M_Six Cream of the Crop More info | I don't find the screen to be that sensitive. Once or twice the focus point has moved from the center, probably due to inadvertent contact, but pretty much the settings stay put. Mark J.
