The Canon adapter can be had for $100 on eBay and it has the same functionality as the Canon adaptor.

I picked up the camera after some consideration, well really the sale price is what really sold me on it. I have been looking for something that will suffice when I don't want to bring along my 60d. I went with an olympus m4/3 for a while but really didn't like it. My copy arrived yesterday and I've been working it out. I only have the kit 22mm lens right now and don't have the adaptor so I'm somewhat limited. I am really impressed with the results I'm getting. Seems to have more noise than the 60d at certain ISO but that us why we have tools for NR in PP. I read reviews about the horrible AF but I did the firmware update and find this camera great for what I am using it for. Here is a 1:1 crop of a photo from last night.

Can you take a close up of where the strap is attached to the camera? Did you lasso it around the lug? Or did you leave the metal piece from the end of the Canon strap?

Thanks!

I used the "attaching the strap to a post" method from below link.

http://www.gordyscamerastraps.com/wrist-string/index.htm (external link)

It stays put very nicely and don't feel like it's going to come off easily. This is my first try at Gordy's and I now understand why many people prefer them.

Quite possibly, as my 1DX is a little bit on a heavy side :p I'm going to tomorrow's game with the M and 135mm + 2xII for long range shots and 15mm FE for close up friends shots. They barely all fit inside this TT bag.

Went to Fenway Park to shoot "Futures At Fenway", where a minor league team gets to play a game there. I had media credentials, so I got to sit in the pit. Brought the M along for the ride... These were shot before the game. I didn't have a chance to use it much during the game though...

We've got a whole bowl of 'em. :)
This was taken using the 90EX as the master to trigger a 580EX pointed up at the ceiling. The 90EX was turned down to 1/128 power. The 580EX was nearly full power.
