I want the triggers for downhill mountain bike photography and skate photography! I dont know if this triggers are capable to help me out on those situations!what do you guys think? I have the RF603C myself. You may encounter a problem in that the triggers only support up to 1/250th shutter speed. They do not support High Speed Sync. Also, they are not 100% reliable. I'd say more between 80-90% reliability. Still great for amateur photography though.

Oct 17, 2012 09:57 | #8 One other thing to note that I've just thought of is the lack of screw on the triggers, so if you're mounting a flash onto the trigger, and then the trigger onto the camera, it can wobble a bit. Ideally I use these for a totally off-camera setup. Chris Marriott Photography

I think the yn-622 will be a better fit if you need shutter speeds above that and are shooting canon. Godox/Flashpoint r2 system, plus some canon stuff.

I have one set of 603s but haven't tested 320th yet) I have one 602 trigger that was unreliable and found that the on/off switch was "loose" and wouldn't stay firmly in the "on" position, which is why is wasn't firing reliably. A tiny piece of tape to ensure it stayed all the way in "on" solves that...when it happens; it doesn't happen all the time. On a side note: the speedlight batteries will die LONG before the trigger batteries do when left on, so taping it "on" isn't an issue. The 603 like the 602 is nothing more than just a wireless on/off switch to fire the strobe. The best it could ever do is the top sync speed of your camera, in your case 1/250. Sony a9II

I used HSS of courfse, which could still deliver the fill light to get under helmet hoods, in forest or full sun. Clive, and Great G/D Abbie

I had a canon st-e2 before for this kind of shots and i never think about off taking a shot at 1/250 because i had HSS!
