Excellent monochrome!
The exposure looks perfect and the placement of all values seems to be very rational.
I am a little concerned about the sky being that dark. It looks like you burned in the sky a little too much in an attempt to create a more dramatic image. I think the sky needs to be lightened and then try for more contrast in the just the sky (contrast in the beach and carnival area is already as much as can be tolerated).

If it's not too late for the correction, the image needs a counter-clockwise rotation to get the horizon level.

Any critical eye will instantly note the horizon needs rotating to the horizontal. This would be an immediate enhancement of a nice shot.

I love what you did with the monochrome. It's much better than the color version.

Here are some of my thoughts:

The first thing i noticed was that the tent in the left down corner is half on the picture. I think it would have been better is you could capture it completely.

I see that you removed a 'bar' on the right with photoshop. I think you could have removed more. The chain, the rollercoaster, the tower on the right, the people walking behind the chain.

It's hard afterwards. I donk't know how the situation was there but maybe you could make some more pictures from different angles.
