Or you can buy 3 year Mack warranty for 30$. Lens warranty is cheap and overrated unless you are working on this particular lens 8hour a day every weekday. I don't see the issue with the warranty of this lens. Plenty of people buy used 24-105L's at this price with no warranty either. At least, like you said, these lenses from Big Value are brand new.
