hey all.

my set of YN-622C's finally arrived.

from my understanding, there was a revision done mid production to ensure compatibility with the 1D line of cameras (or something along those lines)

does anyone know if this revision was shown on the box that the triggers come in? on the side, my box still says V1.0.

just curious, the seller told me they had the latest revision, but who knows.

thanks!

Don't waste your time with opening a new thread, ask it in the YN 622C main topic!

No, there is nothing to indicate whether it has the revision, other than trying it on a 1D and seeing whether it works.

It was fixed early in August, at the start of production. It is unlikely that any faulty units are left in the supply chain. Your seller will know - YN went to some lengths to sort it.

The details are in the YN-622C thread, courtesy of Dan and others.

I tried retiring, but gave it up - it's a dead end

Firstly I did it because it's better keeping all the informations in one place. As Clive wrote the point is in the details - in that topic.

Secondly I did not know the exact answer for your question personally, just tried to help you find a path to a topic where you could get a right answer. No offense! ;)

Why bother replying when he has already stated he is not coming back :)
