Hi all,

I've justr returned from Marrakech, and on my last day I stood on the roof of my Riad and took some 30sec exposures of the skyline. In one of them I noticed a streak accross the sky, which I assumed was a comet, however on closer inspection it in not quite what I was expecting! It seems to stop and start in pulses through the 30 seconds. Is this an artefact of the camera?? I haven't noticed it before, and I have shot comets and night skys. It was taken RAW with a Canon 5D Mk2 with 24-70mm for 30sec @ f5.6 ISO200. Here's the original shot, unprocessed and a crop of the light trail:

It's a UFO!!!!!!

Sorry, I know that wasn't helpful. A plane I'm guessing ... not sure why there's the streaks though.

The pulses are lights and the constant streak is probably the fuselage reflecting city lights...

Totally an aircraft

Its the Plasma-Pulse from the engine of an Aurealian Intergalactic Recon Craft. The streak between the pulses is the magnetic resonance from residual energy (similar to exhaust). I am not authorized to say more than that.

Thank you. I knew it. Don't worry, I'll destroy this image and change my name.

As you can see the government has already gotten to the others stating its an aircraft. ;) Next thing you know Bigfoot won't be real either.

Bigfoot's real; but, his name is Stan, and he's just a hermit that lives in the backwoods of Montana. :D
