720p at 120fps. Super smooth and slow slow-mo. :)

Just last night I found that they finally released the gopro app and the protune update and saw the countdown for the Hero3.

4k ......... now THAT is impressive.

I do admit, despite my moderate investment in cases, I would have preferred they put the lens on the side instead of the front to streamline much better.

The Pro mo video is awesome, and the girls are damn cute as well. I want one.....a GoPro 3, I don't think Mrs Sims would be very taken if I came home with one of the girls.

The GoPro 2 often provides footage somewhere between good and adequate but makes up for it with excitement and unusual angles. The 3 seems to take it to a whole new level.

Agreed.

Ordering is better. Order done. Two hours ago it showed it would ship 10-22.

Now it's shipping 11-14 lol. Oh well, no problemo.

Be advised this model takes MicroSD cards

Was thinking the same but a lot of the joy of the GP2 is you can put it in unusual places. Often that footage will only give you a handful of seconds in a final production so the more cameras you have the better your options......Based on that there should be plenty of opportunities to pick up GP2's cheap. :-)

This looks awesome and would be ideal for my aerial shots above water.
