A noob question , finding a word

guys, looking for a word
when we are capturing sunset. or during the day. when the sun is at the back of our subject. or maybe the light is at the back of our subject. our whole subject turns out to be totally in shadow. totally dark.
i m not sure what it is really called. something like solute/solutation/sohl​uation or whatever. i dont know the word. anybody ?

P.S . as its kinda stupid question.. i know..Dont tel me to search for it . as i have already searched alot. but couldn't find anything. :D
