Went to a pumpkin patch over the weekend to take some portraits of my sweet little 10 mo old. Here is one of the ones I like the best.

I added some vibrance to bring the colors out and vignette to frame her and try to minimize the distraction of the grass. Yet, I feel that grass is too....there...ish. Thoughts? Ideas?

Well for sure she's a little poppet. Grass looks fine to me, Not keen on the stalk growing out of her head.

There is a fine line between "hobby" and "obsession"

Ha! I didn't even notice that. Now I can't stop staring at it.

Cute child. I think you are a bit hot on her face and T-shirt. Not a lot but reducing it would bring some more definition to her face.

Don't care for what looks like a vignette either.

could be a cute shot, but seems focus is on "the patch" on the t-shirt....

Agree with Dave. She looks like she had fun! I would crop the blue side out, keeping your daughter and the pumpkins in frame.

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

So your suggesting more of a portrait crop rather than the landscape. I'll play with that and see how it looks.

@tmoore - Honestly its hard to tell in a 100% view on it. It was shot with my Sigma so I consider anything not obviously out of focus by 3 feet a success.
