I don't know how you guys get such perfect shots, but I'm strongly starting to consider owning an MPE-65 before next spring.

Top shots Ace, The Yellow jacket came out terrific. I wouldn't mind an MP-E myself, but still learning how to wrangle the 100L. Looks like you're ready for it though

Thanks guys! I am constantly battling my lighting issues. It seems like I can't get the light soft enough when I'm real close, like the Yellowjacket and side shot of the hover. I try to compensate, but I have plenty of shots that came out way too dark, also. Maybe I need a macro ring?

Great shots! What do you consider the biggest advantage of the MPE-65 over the 100 you are using now?

If I read correctly, the 65 lets you shoot up to 5:1. I see these crazy-clear & detailed shots on here and almost every time it's with the 65.
