Finally got one timed right for a header -- wishing for a better angle, but this was my 2nd time with this body at soccer. The 1D3 is so much faster than my T2i!

These are great! I shoot the same age group. The boys always have their eyes closed when heading the ball.

Thanks! They're fun to shoot. This weekend, I'm hoping to get some more physical play shots with some contact.

I don't think I've seen a ball-on-head shot with open eyes in any age group though. I think it's physiologically impossible if you know the ball is coming.
