I've considered picking up the inexpensive Peleng 8mm fish-eye for several months. The other day I saw some excellent pictures posted using this lens. That was it... I couldn't wait any longer.

I'm sure gonna have some fun with this lens. :D :p :D

Wow, you managed to get one in two days? My one took six weeks to arrive in the UK from Belarus. I assume that you have a local stockist?

That first image will be but one of many fun shots with this lens. You now need to practice keeping your own feet out of the viewfinder. Good luck and keep posting the results.

That's wild! I think I read the same thread, neat lens especially for the price.

That's a bonkers shot Joel, but I think I like it. My first 'Russian' finally arrived today and damn it's a sharpy. Came in a funny 1950's style cardboard box stuffed with Russian newspaper and contained in what can only be described as a plastic jam jar. Much funnier packing than any L lens I've owned. Tomorrow, we test. Maybe I'll get one of these fella's too, tho' I think I fancy the Zenitar-M 2.8/16 more.

I am so jealous. You look completely joyful having a new toy. Now I want one. What is it?
Just kidding.

Very nice Joel! If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the lense and how much did it run? Ever since that post back a week or so ago, I have been kinda itchy on the idea too...:)

Keep shooting!
