Great shots.. on the image in the top right corner how are you shooting into the sun and overexposing the background and not getting any flare? Also what lens are you using for that shot?

Thanks mate. The shot is here on flickr (external link). You can see the EXIF data if you want. It was the 35L. I find it handles flare very nicely. I was using a lens hood and had the sun just off the lens enough not to wash out the photo.

Alot of people actually like and use flare in their shots.

I like the one of mom and daughter leading the horse but watch your crops, you've got some awkward foot and wrists crops going on.
