Anybody got a B10 yet? I received mine on Saturday and I'm pretty impressed. It's incredibly small and light compared to the B1/B1X and I really like the fact that the stand adapter can be removed. Without the stand adapter it can be mounted on a tripod plate so it's very easy to attach to a monopod for an assistant to carry.

I'm not sure that it's going to be able to handle the RFi modifiers especially the larger (heavier) ones over a long period of time. The tilt-lock knob is small and smooth so I would worry about over-tightening it to accommodate the weight and then not be able to loosen it again. I think the unit is ideal for small to medium umbrellas and all the OCF modifiers though.

The light itself is similar to that produced by the B1/B1X and, although it's rated at 250Ws, it's been measured to produce just one-half stop less light than the B1X (see here (external link)). I think the video light eats up the battery but can be used while on charge. I will be getting a spare battery though.

I think it will be great for weddings and outdoor events and assistants will love it as much as photographers!

Profoto B1 + 36" Westcott Deep Octa, left of model Chrissy, for fill light... Gotta love the cross-type leading lines at this SoCal location... What a fun shoot this was..

Australian model Taya Brooks wearing Stello Couture dress for this editorial... Shot at the infamous Santa Monica Pier... We used construction worker Gabe as a 'prop' for the stark contrast between his and her attire... Thanks Gabe... Hehehehe... Photographed in the late cloudy morning, amongst the hustle-and-bustle of this tourist attraction... Canon 5DsR + 135L + Lee 0.6 ND and Lee 0.6 SE (Soft Edge) GND Filters (stacked)... ISO 125, f/2 @ 1/2000sec... Profoto B1 + Westcott 36" Deep Octa (high-right of model) for fill light...

Thanks, Rico. Yes - made from scratch, including the sourdough starter which is about 14 years old.

As a scone devotee, I am reminded by your pic that my plan to bake my own is overdue. :) Have found a couple of YouTubers—Scottish natch—who make it look easy. Now I can make them a photo subject and eat them both!

Are you referring to scones or are you intending to start your own sourdough? Scones are pretty easy and are delicious - be sure to leave some for photographing! As for sourdough, it's also not difficult but it takes patience.

Alveric surreptitiously snatches the scone whilst Annie is busy packing up her Profoto lights.

Definitely scones. I've eaten them fresh out of the oven countless times, but not in recent decades. BTW, Americans don't know how to pronounce the word—drives me batty!
