I've just got my 70-200 f4 so I'm looking for a new bag that could hold all my gear and have some room for extra stuff (such as bottle of water extra shirt and so on...)
Until now I had a Lowepro 202 AW slingshot and I really liked the easy access and the extra room although some times I wished I had a backpack instead, so now I'm looking at the Tamrac evolution 9 / 8 or the Kata 3 in 1 Sling Backpack, Large.
The equipment that need to fit in is: 5d2 gripped, 70-200L (preferably the 2.8 version as I will eventually get it), 24-70L, Sigma 50, Sigma 85, 430 exII and some accessories
If any one has any input on this bags I will love to hear it (I heard that people had issues with the Tamrac's quality) also if anyone knows of another option I'd like to hear it as well

Thanks for any input

5D2, 24-70L F2.8, Sigma 85 F1.4, Sigma 50 F1.4, 70-200L F4 IS, 100-400 F4.5-5.6 II, 430EX II X 2, A few Pocketwizards

all I can say is after another forum member (you know who you are ;) ) put the idea in my head I ordered a Think Tank Street walker Pro, to carry a 5D2/3 with black rapid rs7 strap systems with either 70-200, 17-40 and 24-105 mounted and the other lenses carried inside, batteries, memory cards, cloths, note pad and pen and a few other bits, and the street walker fits the bill, worth a looking at :D

Have you considered F stop bags? The Loka with medium or large ICU should fit your needs perfectly.

Camera bags is one of those things you should go down to the shop and try out.
You have a fair bit of gear on your back and can feel incredibly uncomfortable after a few hours of wearing it.

I have a Lowepro Flipside 300 and like it alot.
Now I may move up to a 400 or 500 to fit a few more things.

I carry
gripped 60d with 100-400 attached
50 1.8, 18-55, assorted filters, 430exII with a little room to spare but not enough for a second body.

I'd get a pure backpack with a large waist belt instead of a sling pack, with that much equipment you need to spread the weight of your load or you could have a problem with shoulder pain

I can fit all that and more in the 302AW. Though I keep water separate - just dont need condensation or spills near all that $$. It is all on one shoulder - but I guess it depends on your shoulders. With a tripod on there too it gets heavy.

I have the Lowepro SlingShot 202 AW and while I do like it, I regret buying it over a backpack. It kills my shoulder/back after a few hours.

I'm in the market for a new bag as well, but looking for a comfortable backpack.

Forgot to mention - I have a Kata 3 in 1 - 33 backpack which I have never used. Looks a great bag but IMO it holds less than the 302AW (though will carry a laptop and has dual shoulder strap and sling options).

I've not long bought a Crumpler MDH6. It fits in my 5D3, 24-105L, 70-200L, 50mm, iPad, Spare Batteries, Speedlight, memory cards, cloths, Panasonic point and shoot and a few other bits:

Grip might be a problem though
