I did this shoot for a make up artist for her portfolio - she'd just trained up as one.

this was the second look - arabic style she called it.

could i have your critique on

a) the photography aspect of it

b) the post processing side.

the one thing i have seen is in the bottom right where the hair has been edited out and the black's not been blended in properly.

but here it is...

I like it. Pic does a good job of showing off the makeup work, which is the purpose of the pic. Makeup looks stunning, by the way. Beautiful model as well!

I have zero pp skills. The only thing I could comment on would be her hand. Her face looks so smooth compared that I would think about smoothing that out as well.
Nice picture. I like it.

haha i was looking at that - she has a wierd angle on it too. a bit too rounded.

i figured since it would be the face that is going to be zoomed in its probably going to be cropped out of the picture. even then as a whole picture i do agree it could do with a bit more tone blending.

It's a very pretty shot. I agree about her hand....some tonal evening maybe. It's in an odd position, which there's little you can do.

I guess the make up is supposed to look like that. My first thought was a whole lot less, it looks incredibly heavy.

Took around an hr to do that. The foundation is caked/layered on.

Getting it off for the next look took a while.

It's the "in" look around here in the Asian community.

It's meant for girls goin to a wedding kinda thing
