Hi all. I updated dpp last night. In the lens correction tab the list has a few EF-S lenses and a good few L lenses. There seems to be no consumer grade full frame lenses on the list (though in normal shooting these would seem to be the ones that would need most help). Is this correct or do I need to do something to import other lens profiles? Thanks

My experience with DPP with my 60D is that not all lenses are included. I have several really nice EF lenses that are about 12 to 15 years old and only abut 1/2 are included.

For details on compatible cameras and lenses, you should download the 132 page DPP manual and then refer to pages 63-65 (manual version 3.9). A newer manual (3.11 July 2012) can be downloaded from http://support-sg.canon-asia.com …nts/SG/EN/0300744701.html (external link). I'm unaware of any way to add a lens.

Also, the Canon DPP Tutorial Videos are at http://www.learn.usa.canon.com …rials/dpp_tutorials.shtml (external link). There is one video specific to the "Digital Lens Optimizer."

Thank you. I didn't even realise there was a DPP manual

When you use Digtial lens optimizer, you can download and install lens data. You have to do that for it to work. Is it here you mean that the lenses available for download is limited?

If I use lens data it gives me a list of lenses, but they are mostly L lenses and a few EF-S ones. 3 lenses I mostly use EF 50 f1.8 Ef 85 f1.8 and Ef28-135 are not there. I was just curious if they can be used and lens corrections applied
