I've got a SX40HS, I don't use a camera bag, rather I put it the over the messenger bag I crry with my tablet, meds, chargers etc.

I'd like to find a un-bulky case to put it in to protect and cushion it a bit. I have the adapter and filter attached, so may need a little room in the lens area. Anyone know of of a product?

Thanks

vsg28 - looks that would work. I just happened upon a Crumpler Haven (S), although $42, it may fit the bill. Will also provide storage for extra batteries and media cards.

Something to consider, thank you. I wonder how these work?

Went ahead and ordered one of the body covers similar to what jason118 & canajun suggested. Ordered mine via an eBay seller, comes from Hong Kong, free shipping, at a cost of like five bucks! So if it doesn't do the job or doesn't fit, I'm not out big bucks.

Still leaning towards something like the Crumpler Haven. Will post when the cover arrives.
