I hadn't tried this before and obviously there's plenty of scope for improvement, but anyway this is how my first go turned out.

Water in a paint tray with a plastic bag full of water and a pin hole in it suspended above.

580EX II off camera left and fired towards the back of the tray fired into various colours of cardboard located behine the tray.

These are virtually straight out of the camera. C&C welcome.
