G12 Pics Overexposed

My G12 I am sure has gone south on me. I am on the road in Lyon, France right now and all the pics are overexposed and have fine horizontal lines in them. I have close to 20K in pics from this camera though. By chance are there any factory resets I may be overlooking? The manual doesn't show a remedy for this.

Anyhow I am very lucky here in that I pulled up cameras here in Lyon and there is an outlet called FNAC about 2 blocks from me that showed they carried the G12 (this all ocurred yesterday afternoon). I went there and they had one G12 left that I purchased. So the trips photographs are not interuped.

If anyone has any info on my initial paragraph, I would appreciate any response. Also if you know of something that can be done with Canon please let me know. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Personally I would take the camera to the nearest repair centre - which would be this one (searched Canons' website for service locations in France):
