The profile of your cousin's daughter is classic. Simply beautiful.

I'm not as crazy about the other parts of the photo; particularly the background of Christmas stockings.

If your cousin had been looking in the same direction as her daughter, then perhaps there would have been two very nice profiles.

eh, just one man's opinion. The picture will still look good in the family album. :) :)

I don't know what flash your using, but if it is directional, bounce it. Direct flash pictures look flat and too much like a snapshot. By bouncing it, you can crank up the power of the flash and completely wash out the incadescent hue in the background and still have a very natural looking light.
