Ted,. that's fantastic...

Over the years I've had the opportunity to see many of the member's peckers here.. and well,. yours is definitely one of the best,. and largest examples I've seen.

I hope the red on top does not indicate any trouble?

;)

It really is an awesome shot. Definitely a framer :)

Nice detail in the whole shot....in the feathers ( especially on the the breast), Very nice. I like the frame Ted but I am not sure if the matting should be red or as red because I think it might be taking away from the wonderful red on top of the pileated's head.

Gary; can you tell me how to "UNFLATTEN" ?
How can I re-open the photo and adjust the colour; as you suggest. (I certainly do not what to re-do from scratch)
