Thank you for the compliments.
@Wolfden - The first shot was taken through glass, no port. Our glass is only in its second year, and is in fairly good shape. The rest of the shots were taken with a 300mm over the glass, so the glass is not a factor, and the colors look better. Depending on what area I shoot from, I usually have to move towards center ice a bit so the protective netting and corner glass doesn't get in the way. The glass around the corners is considerably higher than the sideline glass.
@Ben - The lighting is about average. From what I have been told, the lighting compared to other AHL arenas is not very good, but I've just learned where to pick my shots over the years of shooting here. Our corners and boards are about one stop darker than the center and net, but it's not that bad. I shoot at 1/640, 3.2, 2500iso and usually bump a little exposure in post.
As far as positioning, 1 was taken even with the net through the glass with the 70-200. 2, 4, 5 and 8 were taken from about 5 feet from corner across the arena on the walkway between the lower and upper bowl. 3, 6 and 7 were taken from mid ice between the two bowls. These were shot with the 300 2.8 mk2.
Thanks again for the comments!
