I wanted to show you lower Yosemite Falls.... the granite cliffs are so huge and so beautiful. I left the people in so you can get an idea how massive it is. The 1st is a little sunshine during an otherwise dreary day on Half Dome.

The picture of Yosemite falls is so beautiful. I was a little sad to see that you left it a little too flat and dull. Rocks are amazing things because they have sooo many colors in them. If you leave a rock picture flat, they just look gray and boring. But if you up the contrast and saturation just a little bit, those colors and tones really stand out and look great. Because if are okay with image editing, I edited the falls picture to demonstrate what I mean, hope you don't mind. I'm a Velvia50 hog so seeing a flat image really gets to me. For this image I created a levels adjustment layer and brought in the shadow and highlght sliders to match the contrast of the scene. I then made a hue/saturation adjustment layer and upped the master, red, yellow, and green saturation channels. Hope you like it and I hope my comments were helpful. Maureen, as long as you ask: No, I really can't stand seeing any more Yosemite pictures. Want to know why? Well, I'll tell you anyway. Because I've NEVER BEEN THERE and you're making me jealous.
