Tundra Swans in flight in Yukon

These three became airborne while I photographed a large number of swans on an ice covered pond along the Alaska Highway.

They circled around and around. It seemed they were they were on reconnaissance, checking me out to ensure it was safe.

Sorry the shots are heavily cropped, they certainly kept their distance!
