First time posting for C&C here.

Our German Shorthair Pointer is with us for not too much longer, cancer sucks, but we've been blessed with him for about 11 years. We've started making images of him and us for us after he leaves this life.

I know he is a bit OOF, I wanted her to be the star of this shot, as it is the first time she has let me shoot her. I appreciate your criticisms.

Ben

One of the hardest things in life is to lose one of your dogs. I hate it.

However........it's a small price to pay for all of the joy they bring into our lives while they live with us.

Sorry you have to go through this.

Remember what the DorMouse said.....feed your head.

C&C isn't going to make the images better or worse.

The memory of your dog alone will be worth more than anything anyone will ever say about the photo you took of such a great friend.

We put our dog of 11 years down last spring. I regret not having taken more pictures of him, however, I am thankful to have taken the ones I did.

You have both a beautiful girlfriend and best friend...Sorry to hear that you are losing your best friend, I lost my 16 year old best friend back in February and it still hurts.
