I thought I would start a thread dedicated to the status log. I will list mine up to date. If everyone lists theirs maybe we can notice patterns.

  • 10/20/12 Err 80
    • An error prevented shooting

  • 09/14/12 Caution 02
    • A sudden drop in battery performance

  • 09/09/12 Caution 02
    • A sudden drop in battery performance
I will add more as I notice them. Hopefully this will prove useful to someone.

Ok im in for this so here are mine so far

  • 30/09/12 11:15 Caution 02 A sudden drop in battery performance was detected.
  • 29/09/12 10:32 Caution 02 A sudden drop in battery performance was detected.
  • 28/09/12 11:10 Caution 02 A sudden drop in battery performance was detected.
Canon state that this error is flagged if the battery level drops while the camera is turned off yet checking back through my images all three times the camera was on and in use at the times in the log.

Can't help, my log is blank, although I've shot <= 12000 frames

Does the log get reset when you update the firmware ?

I have updated my firmware as released and it has retained the log. I think you have to clear it manually...but I won't because the log being complete is the whole idea, right?

Haven't manually cleared mine, so that means my body has never had any issues. I'm lucky so far, touch wood
