In Las Vegas for a while visiting my sister-in-law and forgot my small camera bag so need to get another one, big one is too heavy for daytrips. Anyone around LV suggest a good camera shop with a decent pricing and selection.

Thanks in advance!

I did a search first, and the threads at the bottom were older, many from 2008 and 2009, nothing recent... In hindsight, I searched for camera "equipment" and should have used "store" instead of equipment. Also found some stores on yellowpages.com but was looking for someone with actual first-hand knowledge of a store. Just like back in the Detroit area, there are a few camera stores still around, but only one that I know of that doesn't rape you on prices.

There's also Sahara Camera at 2600 W. Sahara Avenue.

But I prefer B&C

Just an update, I went to B&C and was most impressed. Thank you both for the suggestion, and I recommend them to others if you're in Las Vegas and need something quick.

Anyway, the two younger gentlemen that were working there were most courteous and knowledgeable. I wasn't there more than 2 or 3 minutes and one came over and greeted me and offered me a bottle of cold water. I explained what I was looking for and he pointed me in the areas I needed to go. Took me a while to decide on what I wanted, and he checked on me a couple times to see if I had any questions, but didn't pressure me in any way. They seem to have a decent selection of camera equipment and accessories.

While I was there several other customers came in and they waited on them with complete professionalism. Didn't try to upsell them or talk them into something they didn't want. They even suggested cheaper alternatives in a couple instances. And their prices, while not a cheap as some online dealers, were reasonable on the stuff i looked at. Quality personal service is still worth something...

On a side note B&C is also a pickup/dropoff point for borrowlenses if you ever need to rent something. They do have a surcharge and two business day lead time though.
