They dropped the price to $2,799. Great thing is, they even refunded the $100 difference.

So glad they did that. I saw the price change and got furious for a minute. I then checked my email and saw they were refunding $100 and was pretty happy about that.

You see - here's the thing. I honestly don't know anything about these folks. They could be quite reputable for most things. But again this is an "in demand" item at a hot price. No thanks. When I get my MKIII it will be either locally or from BH, Adorama or one of a couple other proven, reliable dealers. Just my opinion

In all honesty, I hope it works out for you. Just make sure that it comes with everything that is packed at the factory.

Don't forget, these review sites like Reseller Ratings, anyone can leave ratings so as long they sign up.

The times I've used resellerratings they required an invoice id # before the review would be processed.

They didn't refund the $$ yet. Seller emailed and said the price has been lowered therefore they will refund $100 tomorrow and will notify tracking number when it's out of the warehouse. I got the email around 5:58pm

how are they going to verify it? like they'll go back to the retailer and say "hey here is an invoice number can you verify it for us, it's a negative feedback"...?

We use a variety of techniques to prevent voting fraud, not the least of which is good old fashioned manual review of selected evaluations. We log IP addresses, we require email verification, we ask for the customer's invoice number, and occasionally we ask that customers fax us a copy of their order invoice for verification. Some merchants have in fact attempted to get away with submitting evaluations for their own companies in the past. Though rare, such an offense will earn the merchant a comment from us to be placed in their comments file, letting visitors know of their fraudulent evaluations. And of course, any fraudulent evaluations are removed.

I purchased the 5dm3 earlier today for $2,899 and received an email stating that I will receive the $100 credit. Also, they provided a tracking number with an arrival date of tomorrow, Friday. Looking forward to seeing the Fed-Ex truck in my neighborhood. So far, so good!

As a buyer on ebay, you'll have full buyer protection if you paid by paypal. I shouldn't worry much.

This and its from an authorized dealer with usa warranty. My cc comp called when i was trying to place the order this afternoon just to verify that i'm posessing the card still

Well, just got the Paypal notification of $100 credit.

You guys doing the buying need to take the extra effort and provide them positive feedback on resellerratings.

I agree. They issued automatic refunds when the price lowered....and assuming everything comes through ok, it will help them build their reputation back and keep buyers like us informed.
